Swimsuits

Swim is the smallest department here, and saying so is more useful than dressing it up. A handful of one-piece suits and high-waisted two-pieces, cut for a holiday rather than for laps.

The ribbed suits read as knitwear from a distance, and that is the reason they sit in this range at all. They pair with the crochet cover ups from the department next door.

Chlorine and salt are hard on elastic. Rinse in fresh water the same day and none of these will need replacing next summer.

None of these are rated for sun protection, and a wet suit gives less cover than a dry one.
