Sweater Dresses

A sweater dress is one decision that dresses a whole day, and it is the closest-cut thing in this range. Ribbed knits follow the body and show its line. Cable and pleated knits skim it.

Length decides the season. A midi with boots is the November version, a mini with tights the December one. The length is on each page in the maker's own words, because a photograph on a model who is nine inches taller than you is not a measurement.

None of these are lined. A knit dress on bare legs rides where it wants to, and a slip underneath solves that in a way no amount of sizing does.
